We may also collect your passport information, driver’s license or other government-issued identification number, date of birth, gender, arrival and departure locations and times, airline, hotel or car rental frequent loyalty numbers, seat preferences, known traveler and global entry number, and other related travel information.

What About Photos?

We love to see clients' vacation photos!

We need to let you know that we save those photos, and some photos may include personal data about where you were (and when) those photos were taken.

We do not share your photos with anyone.  We do not use client photos for promotional purposes, unless you have specifically agreed to it.

In general, we do not collect or use automatic data collection.

But the legal people tell us that we need to disclose that the social media platform, website provider for this page, or web host may collect other information, such as your IP address, search terms, and site pages when you visit us online. We don't.

Choosing to book travel services with us is your consent to share information with the following:

Travel Suppliers

We share limited amounts of your personal information with airlines, cruise lines, hotels, car rental companies, tour companies, and other providers for whose services you have requested our assistance.  Additionally, our host agencies (Travel Edge and Coastline Travel Advisors) and our consortia (Virtuoso) will see limited information.

Print Communication

We may share your name, address, and email contact information with our partners to assist with marketing our products and services.  This includes print publications from Virtuoso (such as Virtuoso Life, Virtuoso Traveler, Virtuoso Best of the Best).  We always ask if you want these (they're free) at the time we make your first booking.  If at any time you wish to stop receiving them, just ask your Travel Advisor.

Email Communications 

We may share your email contact information with our partners to assist with marketing our products and services. You may unsubscribe from receiving future commercial email communications by clicking the “unsubscribe” link included at the bottom of any marketing emails.

Of course, we will still send you transactional emails such as customer service communications in connection with the products or services you have purchased.

Transfer of Assets

We do not sell or lease personal information or provide a list of our customers to third parties.

If another entity acquires us, the information will be transferred to the acquiring entity. If any bankruptcy or reorganization proceeding is brought by or against us, all such information may be considered an asset of ours and as such may be sold or transferred to third parties.

List of Third Parties

If you are a resident of the State of California, you may obtain a list of all third parties to which we have disclosed certain personally identifiable information as defined under California law during the preceding year for third party direct marketing purposes, if any.

 

To save us all time, here's the list:  Virtuoso, Travel Edge, Coastline Travel Advisors, Travefy, Travel Joy, and any supplier with whom we obtained a quote or made a booking for you. 

 

You know who those last people are because you received an email confirmation from us or from those specific suppliers.  But if you really want an enumerated list, ask your Travel Advisor and he or she will put the list together for you.

If wish to make corrections to any personal information you have provided, please contact us via telephone.  Additionally, you may email your Travel Advisor.

Do Not Track Disclosures 

We do not look at browser based Do Not Track (DNT) Notices.  We do not track your use of other websites.

We may make changes to this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in legal or regulatory obligations or changes in the manner in which we deal with personal information. We will post any revised version of this Privacy Policy on our website. Any changes will be effective on the effective date stated in the revised Privacy Policy. If there are significant changes, we may provide more prominent notice or obtain your consent, if required by law.
